Launching SA Disability Support Services

KAA is passionate about supporting vulnerable children, young people, and their families.

Key Assets Australia are launching disability support services in College Park, South Australia during January 2023, expanding their reach within the disability sector.

Passionate about supporting vulnerable children, young people, and their families our focus will be on establishing our reputation as a high-quality disability service provider across the South Australian community.

With our organisation already predominant in the out of home care industry across the state, this is a natural progression for our service model, ensuring all children and young people in care with a disability are well supported.

Starting with Support Coordination and Home and Community supports, KAA will also look to embed an allied health service provision throughout 2023, widening our service offering to that of therapy and assessments under an Early Childhood model.

Services are currently available to all individuals that have a NDIS funded plan within South Australia between the ages of 0-18 years, not just those that may be already in care with KAA.

Kerrie Maxworthy – Director of Disability at Key Assets Australia

“This is such an exciting time for our organization. The launch of our South Australian disability service provision shows KAAs commitment to becoming a national provider of disability supports, expanding our reach to an even greater pool of children and young people living with disability.”

“Our focus will be on supporting them to lead independent, confident, and fulfilling lives, building on our already well-established reputation across the state in Foster Care. This seems like a natural progression for KAA ensuring our Children and Young People in care living with a disability are well supported and those new to our organization experience the person-centered, values-based approach Key Assets Australia is renowned for."

Michael Ainsworth – State Director for South Australia at Key Assets Australia

“Key Assets Australia is passionate about working alongside people living with disability and in South Australia we have a long history of supporting families and Children and Young People (CYP) in our Foster Care program.”

“We see the person first, not the disability, and we are thrilled to launch services for the CYP we support and potential participants to give them more choice and opportunities to get their supports and services.”
