NAIDOC WEEK 2022

Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up! NAIDOC Week, hosted 3rd-10th July learn more about the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander cultures & communities

NAIDOC Week, hosted 3rd-10th July, provides an opportunity to learn more about the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and communities. It’s a week dedicated to acknowledging and celebrating the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities, accomplishments, history, and cultures.

Every year, NAIDOC Week has a theme, the 2022 theme is Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up!

We as a country have a proud history of getting up, standing up, and showing up for what we believe in, and we must continue to do so for the change that is needed. This year’s theme focuses on the genuine commitment needed by all to support and secure functional, structural, collaborative, and cooperative reforms for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

NAIDOC week is about recognising and celebrating the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Here at Key Assets, our teams are taking steps towards reconciliation this week by hosting events with carers and children and partaking in community events across the country.
Below is a list of some of the many events happening around Australia:
