QLD Christmas Toy Drive

Our Key Assets QLD Management and staff have been overwhelmed with the generosity shown by our neighbours, local businesses and members of the public who have kindly donated gifts and gift cards at our 2021 Toy Drive, for our children and young people in foster care over the week. Seeing their little faces light up in excitement as they feel the magic of Christmas has been truly heart-warming. From all of the team at Key Assets we thank you for opening your heart and going out of your way to make a difference for our kids and carers at this time of year and wish you a safe Christmas and New Year. 🎄 🎅

Our children, young people, carers, and staff at Key Assets QLD were gifted an amazing experience yesterday with donated vouchers to spend at @Mr Toys Toyworld Macgregor, by the generous team at Little Legends

The Little Legends Foundation operates with the charitable purpose of providing aid, support and positive experiences for vulnerable children and young people across the country.

Our amazing Placement Services Manager, Theresa, worked round the clock to coordinate the vouchers and get as many of our carers and kids as possible down to Mr Toys yesterday.

We had phone calls from carers saying that the kids were so excited they couldn’t get to sleep all night and woke up bright and early, like it was an early Christmas day - the smiles on their faces were priceless. A day we will never forget!

Thank you to Anastasia and the team at Little Legends Foundation for gifting us with this experience – there will be extra magic around the Christmas tree this year🎄.
