National Safe Work Month (Week 3)

This weeks theme is 'Managing WHS Risks & Preventing Harm'

Week 3 of National Safe Work Month, KAA are focusing on managing WHS risks and preventing harm. It is essential to managing WHS risks in order to create a safe and healthy workplace.

To manage WHS risks, you need to:

  1. identify hazards by finding all the things that could potentially harm your workers or other people, and

  2. assess the risk by thinking about the likelihood and consequences of any injury or

  3. illness that could result if a worker or other person is exposed to a hazard.
